About Sequoia Project
The Sequoia Project is a non-profit, public-private collaborative advancing nationwide health information exchange. As the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT's (ONC's) Recognized Coordinating Entity (RCE) we are developing, implementing, and maintaining the Common Agreement component of the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA) and will operationalize the Qualified Health Information Network (QHIN) designation and monitoring process. Sequoia also supports the RSNA Image Sharing Validation program and the Patient Unified Lookup System for Emergencies (PULSE). Sequoia previously launched the eHealth Exchange network and Carequality, which were transitioned to their own corporate structure and governance in October 2018.
